Mail Room
To receive a mailbox and key, students must attend a brief orientation at the beginning of each semester. For fall 2024, the available orientation dates and times are:
- August 21, 2024: 8 a.m., 9 a.m., 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 12 p.m., or 7 p.m.
- August 22, 2024: 9 a.m., 10 a.m., 12 p.m., 3 p.m., or 7 p.m.
- August 23, 2024: 9 a.m., 10 a.m., 12 p.m., 3 p.m., or 7 p.m.
- August 26, 2024: 8 a.m., 9 a.m., 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 12 p.m., or 7 p.m.
- August 27, 2024: 8 a.m., 9 a.m., 10 a.m., 3 p.m., 4 p.m., or 5 p.m.
Students only need to attend one session. All sessions will be held in the Conference Room (Room 120) in the Student Center, across from the mailboxes.
Key Return Policy
Please note: Keys must be returned at the end of each semester or when a student leaves the college or student housing, whichever comes first. Failure to return the mailbox key may result in a $25 replacement fee.
Mailroom Hours and Services
- Operating Hours: Monday - Friday, 7 a.m. - 1 p.m. (USPS mail processing and distribution)
- Package Processing: Monday - Friday, 1 p.m. - 5 p.m. (in the Student Leadership and Activities Office)
- No mail service on weekends or holidays.
Mailbox Key Distribution
Mailbox keys are distributed at the beginning of the fall and spring semesters. Information regarding distribution dates, times, and mail addressing instructions will be sent to students via their Blinn College email.
By accepting a key, students acknowledge a $25 replacement fee for keys that are not returned, lost, or stolen. If a student decides not to use a campus mailbox after receiving their key, they should return it to the mailroom located in the Student Leadership and Activities Office in the Student Center.
